I began painting several years ago when I joined a group of ladies who still get together every Tuesday morning at a local church. This is not a formal class - just talk, critique and laughter. No one is allowed to gossip or complain about health.  I’ve taken no lessons.  I don’t ever want to paint an apple. The atmosphere of the Tuesday group allows me a chance to experiment.  That is why my work is so varied.  I love both fun pictures with bright colors and black and white pictures of a serious nature. I can be working on 3 canvasses at the same time all completely different from one another. Most of all I paint because it’s fun.

I have a passion to help the soldiers in Iraq.  No politics is involved - just soldiers.  To that end, 20% of all proceeds from items purchased on my web site will go directly to the assistance of soldiers through Soldiers’ Angels.

I am the mother of 2 grown children. I am a registered nurse, turned dentist, turned watercolor artist.

Thank you for your patronage and support.
